Gabriel Lakey is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, director, and writer devoted to capturing human-centered stories that delve deep into the realms of conviction, curiosity, and the pursuit of truth. He directed Pigweed Philosopher, which won Best Foreign Documentary at the London Independent Film Festival. Lakey later wrote the documentary The Truth About RFK Jr, now streaming on Angel Studios.
He has also directed several biographical documentaries for the project A Year of Transformation, profiling individuals whose lives reflect personal change and conviction. Subjects include Martha McSally—the first American woman to fly in combat and command a fighter squadron—former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, and Baron Baptiste, a pioneer of modern power yoga.
Lakey is also the writer of the upcoming documentary Toxic Nation: From Fluoride to Seed Oils — How We Got Here, Who Profits, and What You Can Do.
